As a Part Time Teacher Assistant, you’ll work alongside our educators, providing invaluable assistance and stepping in wherever needed to ensure the smooth operation of our classrooms. Children range in ages from infant through PreK. Apply today and embark on a fulfilling journey in early childhood education!
Shifts are Monday through Friday, 10am-2pm.
Pay: Starts at $13/hour with a High School diploma and no prior child care experience; $15/hour with a CDA; Rates increase with education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications Required
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education.
Duties
• Stays with and supervises all activities of the assigned group of children when on duty, including the supervision of children inside and outside the building, during special events, and during all other activities.
• Plans, directs, and participates in all areas of activities in the classroom directed toward the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children in their care.
• Maintains an orderly classroom.
• Maintains a positive and cooperative relationship with all staff, parents, and volunteers of the agency.
• Is alert to the medical needs of children in their care and appropriately acts on their observations.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
