You will also be responsible for managing and motivating a team of warehouse associates to meet and exceed performance goals.To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a leadership position within a warehouse or distribution center setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in order to effectively lead and collaborate with team members. Oversee daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve warehouse operations.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Train and supervise warehouse associates to ensure they are following proper procedures and meeting performance goals.
Motivate and inspire team members to work together towards a common goal.
Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
Create and maintain a positive and safe work environment for all warehouse employees.
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of operations.
Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise in the warehouse.
Monitor and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and performance metrics.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve warehouse operations.
Handle any disciplinary actions or conflicts that may arise within the team.
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that values diversity and teamwork.
Participate in hiring and onboarding processes for new warehouse team members.
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
