Currently looking for a temporary HR assistant to help with a special project. This project is expected to last approximately 4 weeks. The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department with organizing and filing critical employee and contract documents. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory and facility standards. May assist with other projects and audits as needed. Executes with a high level of attention to detail, while working independently and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Organize, file, and maintain confidential employee records in accordance with facility policies, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and tracking of HR documents, reports, and data as needed.
• Ensure that all files and records meet compliance standards for behavioral health facilities, including TJC, CARF, and licensing requirements.
• Box records and document contents for proper storage both on and off-site.
• Use Microsoft Excel to accurately track HR data, update records, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with HR team members as necessary while performing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and facility information at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s in related field is a plus.
• 1 year of experience in human resources or administration with a focus on file systems and maintenance. Prior healthcare experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Required to stand, bend, stoop or squat for extended periods.
• Some prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times. Frequently must lift up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to access and navigate the administrative and basement storage areas of the facility.
• Must use vision to read type and writing in varying sizes and colors.
