MHS is seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. As Flex Houseparents, you will live on campus in student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of 8-12 students. Embrace the opportunity to create a supportive, family-like environment while managing responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Benefits:
• Competitive salary of $43,825 per person, resulting in an impressive total compensation package of approximately $165,000 per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.

Qualifications:
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, particularly in underserved settings, is preferred.
• This is a joint position for legally married couples with a minimum of two years of marriage.
• Both spouses should be at least 27 years of age.
• Only three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Must adhere to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, with no alcohol permitted while on duty.
• Limited pet policy applies: only fish and one dog of approved breeds are allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license is required; ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Couples should be comfortable leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (note: proselytizing is not permitted).
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exemplary integrity and respect for the role of a role model for students.
