POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified School Nurse is a Registered Nurse whose goal is to establish and maintain a comprehensive school health program. The Registered Nurse for High Point Schools provides necessary health screening, counseling, and education for students, families, and staff as necessary.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• CPR Certification
• School Nurse Certification – Non-Teaching Certificate
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduate of a state accredited school or college of nursing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Experience in child/adolescent mental health nursing practice
