Full-Time Co-Nanny Needed for HNW Family in West Town
Location: Chicago, IL, 60622
Travel: Malibu, CA + Big Sky, MT + Las Vegas, NV + Miami, FL
Children: 1 and 3 years old
Schedule: 11-7 PM, Tuesday-Saturday (40 hours guaranteed)

This is an extremely unique and exciting opportunity for a Chicago nanny that loves to travel and has the skills and abilities to work for a High Net Worth Employer.
The family is extremely kind and laid back, taking a Montessori approach to childcare. This position will work alongside a full-time Nanny that has been with the family many years and can attest to how amazing this family truly is. (During the interview process you will be able to speak to this nanny to gain more insight about what it is like to work for this family!)
This new hire will work simultaneously with the current nanny, with shifts overlapping for approximately 5 hours per day. The new hire to be solely responsible for both children from about 4-7 PM.
The family employs a personal/family assistant as well as an executive housekeeper, allowing for a smooth-functioning and positive household environment.

Career nanny that is truly passionate about working with children and educationally focused
Flexible and accommodating in order to adjust to the family’s needs as necessary
A “people person” that is able to mesh well with the existing household staff as well as household guests and visitors
Comfortable with traveling with the family to their multiple properties and able to get away for up to a few weeks at a time.
Personable and able to “read a room” to step in or away as needed.
Discreet, able maintain family’s privacy and work in the background.
Trustworthy
Proactive and able to anticipate needs
Must be tech-savvy and able to communicate well via email to coordinate with the family’s other staff members.
Active, organized, collaborative
Job Responsibilities Will Include:
Caring for two young children independently as well as alongside the other nanny
Assisting in creating a home environment that adheres to Montessori standards
Creating and engaging in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities with the children to turn everyday things into fun-adventurous learning opportunities
Household tidying
Packing/ unpacking, preparing for travel
Requirements:
3+ years of experience working as a nanny, teacher, or family assistant
Strong references that can speak to relevant experience
The position requires signature of a non-disclosure agreement
“Travel-ready” and excited about the idea of spending time in different locations.
Confident swimmer and comfortable caring for children in/around water
Candidate must be willing to be paid legally through a payroll system “on the books”
Candidate should drive and have a safe driving record. Street parking is available.
Candidate must also meet the following requirements to apply: 18+, non-smoker, minimum of a high-school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to pass a criminal background check, legally authorized to work in the US, and have a relevant job history with outstanding references.
Pay: $30-$35/hr Pre-Tax, DOE (up to $73k for the right fit!)
