Live-In Nanny Needed for Growing Family in Brooklyn, NY

Start Date: January/February 2025

A warm, energetic, and experienced live-in nanny is needed for a growing family in Brooklyn, NY. The family has 4-year-old twins who attend school full-time and is expecting a new baby in June. This is an excellent opportunity for a nanny who thrives in a team-oriented household and is looking for a long-term role.

Details of the Role:
• Start Date: January/February 2025
• Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for occasional nights and weekends.
• Compensation: $1,200-$1,500 per week, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
• Care for 4-year-old twins until August 2025.
• Transition to more care for the newborn after August, once the twins start full-time preschool in their new home in Rye, NY.
• Assist with child-related household tasks during school hours, such as:
• Children’s laundry
• Preparing meals for the children
• Tidying and organizing the children’s rooms and play areas
• Collaborate with parents, especially the mother, who is home on Thursdays and Fridays and plays an active role in the children’s lives.

Additional Information:
• A newborn care specialist will support the family during the baby’s first two months.
• The family will relocate to Rye, NY, in summer 2025, and the nanny will move with them.

Requirements:
• Experience working with newborns, toddlers, and school-age children.
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents in an involved household.
• Flexibility for occasional night and weekend coverage.
• A loving, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Comfortable with managing transitions, including the move to Rye, NY.
