About the position

As a Distribution Partner II at H-E-B, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the supply chain by working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position involves performing various warehouse operations tasks, including selecting orders, stocking, and operating forklifts. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a commitment to quality customer service, contributing to the overall success of H-E-B’s distribution efforts across Texas and Mexico.

Responsibilities
• Select cases of products and organize them on pallets for shipment to H-E-B Stores.

• Prioritize accuracy and quality in work assignments.
,
• Perform work tasks safely and in compliance with work instructions, proactively addressing safety issues.
,
• Assist other Partners by sharing information about technical matters and facility-specific knowledge.
,
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner, using time efficiently to support facility goals.
,
• Ensure work performed meets individual and team productivity goals.
,
• Operate equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent damage.
,
• Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment.
,
• For Order Selectors: Select orders for shipment accurately and without damage.
,
• For Forklift Operators: Manage product flow safely and accurately from assigned slots.
,
• For Loaders: Load products in an organized and damage-free manner.
,
• For Automated Distribution: Manage the end-to-end process flow within the automated system.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
,
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
,
• Experience in a physically demanding job is a plus.
,
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
,
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
,
• Verbal and written communication skills.
,
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and promote positive change.

• Ability to operate machines or equipment safely and independently.

• Ability to learn and understand H-E-B in-house systems.

• Dependability and commitment to safety.
