Leasing Specialist – Entry Level

Job Title: Leasing Specialist

Company: Established Real Estate Firm
Location: New York City
Compensation:

• Base salary: $55,000

• Commission + annual bonus

Key Responsibilities:

Leasing & Client Engagement

• Respond to leasing inquiries via phone and online platforms

• Schedule and follow up on appointments via email, phone, and text

• Deliver in-person tours and maintain up-to-date knowledge of units, pricing, and amenities

Administrative Support

• Manage shared leasing team emails and calendars

• Assist agents and clients with application processes

• Enter and maintain data in CRM (MRI experience is a plus)

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all leasing procedures follow Fair Housing regulations

• Assist with applications, background checks, credit checks, and documentation

• Prepare and distribute electronic leases and addendums

Market Knowledge & Reporting

• Conduct market and competitor analysis

• Provide pricing and trend insights

• Ensure units are ready for showings and report any property issues

Qualifications:

• NYS Real Estate License – REQUIRED

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Customer service experience and ability to build rapport

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; MRI software is a plus
