Join a Reputed Private Spice Estate Specializing in Pepper, Cinnamon, Cardamom & Clove
We are seeking a motivated Agricultural Officer to oversee the cultivation and management of spices at our estate in Galle. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge in spice farming and a passion for sustainable agricultural practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise day-to-day operations of spice cultivation
• Monitor plant health, soil quality, and pest control
• Plan and implement seasonal crop schedules
• Guide and manage estate workers
• Maintain clear records of farming activities and inputs
• Introduce good agricultural practices (GAP) and sustainable methods
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or Plantation Management
• Knowledge of spice crop cultivation (pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, clove)
• Ability to lead field operations and maintain documentation
